Ambit Energy Named to Top 100 Places to Work 2011
One of Only 34 Companies to Earn Honor Three Consecutive Times
DALLAS – (November 12, 2011) – For the third year in a row, national retail energy provider Ambit Energy was ranked among the Top 100 Places to Work by The Dallas Morning News. Only 34 companies in the Dallas-‐Fort Worth Metroplex were named three-‐time repeat winners.
“From the beginning, we have always invested in our people and our systems. Those investments pay off with a great culture in which our team can do their best to deliver the best service and value to our customers,” said Co-‐Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jere Thompson, Jr.
Among “Top Midsize Companies” (companies with 150-‐499 employees) Ambit was ranked #28 among Metroplex businesses.
The companies on the list are nominated by employees, and each nominee has to excel in six categories: Direction, Execution, Conditions, Career, Managers and Pay & Benefits. All nominations are compiled, weighted and ranked by Workplace Dynamics LLC, which specializes in employee engagement and retention.
“Our people make this company great,” said Co-‐Founder and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Chambless. “With a company culture built on open communication, individual dedication and passionate enthusiasm, our employees have perpetuated the growth and success of Ambit Energy. And it’s this amazing team that will enable us to continue striving for historic milestones, including one million Consultants and $1 billion in revenue next year.”
