Ambit Energy’s Annual AMBITION Conference to Have $6.7 Million Economic Impact on Dallas
(DALLAS) – Ambit Energy, the world’s largest direct seller of energy and a leading national retail energy provider, will host more than 8,000 entrepreneurs from around the country as the company’s Independent Consultants visit Dallas for Ambit’s 9th annual AMBITION conference, Sept. 2-5.
According to the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, AMBITION will bring more than $6.7 million to the local economy, contribute to 40 full-time equivalent jobs in the Dallas area, and generate state and local taxes of more than $700,000. During the conference, Ambit provides four days of informative training, networking opportunities, recognition of individual achievements and presentations from guest speakers designed to help attendees grow their businesses.
“Each year we host AMBITION to provide personal and professional development and lift the entrepreneurial spirit of our Independent Consultants,” said Jere Thompson, Jr., co-founder and CEO of Ambit Energy. “By keeping AMBITION in Dallas, we are also able to financially support the local businesses in our community.”
AMBITION sessions will take place in eight venues across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including the American Airlines Center, Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Omni Dallas Hotel, Hilton Anatole, Salum Restaurant, Gilley’s Dallas, Hackberry Creek Country Club, and the Dr Pepper Ballpark, where Ambit is a corporate sponsor.
Captain of the “Miracle on Ice” 1980 Winter Olympic hockey gold medal team, Mike Eruzione, will provide the keynote address for attendees at the American Airlines Center Saturday, Sept. 5. Additionally, DeDe Murcer Moffett, Tammy Stanley, Joel Zeff and John C. Maxwell will speak during the conference.
