Summer is finally here, which means grilling season is in full swing. Whether you’re hanging out in the backyard or lounging poolside, chowing down on grilled fare on a nice day is tough to beat.
Did you know there’s a better way to cook those delicious hamburgers and hot dogs? Natural gas grills have distinct advantages over costly charcoal and propane grills.
Here are some key benefits of powering your cookout with natural gas this summer:
- Not as Pricey – Natural gas grills are generally much more affordable than charcoal or propane alternatives. In fact, in many areas, natural gas is about a third of the cost of propane per BTU.
- Environmentally Friendly – Natural gas is the cleanest-burning fossil fuel and produces far less pollutants than other options, which reduces its environmental impact. It also limits the exhaust emitted from your grill that can end up encrusted on your food.
- Less Hassle – Have you ever invited your friends or family over to the house for a barbeque only to run out of propane or charcoal halfway through the party? Natural gas connects directly to your home’s gas line, which eliminates trips to buy more charcoal or refill that bulky propane tank.
- Faster Cooking – Natural gas grills are preheated and ready to go in about five to 10 minutes. Charcoal grills take about twice the time (15-20 minutes) before they’re ready to use.
The choice is simple. Chuck the charcoal and put away the propane. Natural gas grills are the way to go!
